Dr McEvoy Honoured

Our Year 8's hosted our Assembly today, bringing us up to date with all of their adventures thus far. During this Assembly a very special surprise and honour was bestowed upon our very own Dr Frank McEvoy! As you would be aware, Dr McEvoy works tirelessly every year to promote and engage students and Staff with their Fundraising efforts for Project Compassion. This year, with a particularly impressive effort from our Year 12 Cohort, it was our largest ever total raising an amazing $12,092.12.

Angela Hart, Caritas Diocesan Director, attended our Assembly to not only accept our cheque, but also to surprise and honour Dr McEvoy with a special video thanks from Paul O'Callaghan, CEO Caritas Australia. In the video, Mr O'Callaghan gives special praise to Dr McEvoy, for his 27 years of service to fundraising for Project Compassion here at Thomas More College. It is important to note, that this is the very first time such a special thank you has been bestowed upon anyone.

Congratulations Dr Frank McEvoy, you are a true inspiration!
